What is Climate Academy?

Climate Academy is Carbon Neutral Britain's training programme for UK businesses. It is built for the people who communicate sustainability inside a business, marketing, PR, sales, procurement, and leadership, and is aligned to current UK certification standards including ISO 14068-1:2023 and the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. Course 01 is available now. Further courses will follow.

Who is Climate Academy for?

Any UK business owner or team leader who needs their people to talk about sustainability accurately and confidently. Named audiences include marketing teams, PR teams, sales teams answering tender questions, procurement teams, founders, MDs, and sustainability leads. Both SME (10 to 250 staff) and mid-market (500+ staff) businesses use Climate Academy.

How is Climate Academy different from Carbon Literacy training?

Carbon Literacy Project training runs one-day whole-team awareness sessions accredited by CLP. Climate Academy is built for the specific roles that carry external communication risk, uses assessed learning with a 30-question test rather than an action pledge, and aligns to ISO 14068-1:2023 rather than to a training accreditation. Both can sit alongside each other. Many businesses will benefit from both.

Is Climate Academy accredited?

Climate Academy courses are aligned to the standards actually used in UK carbon reporting and certification, including ISO 14068-1:2023, ISO 14064-1, and the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard. CPD UK certification is in application. We deliberately position Climate Academy against the underlying standards rather than against a training-body accreditation, because the standards are what your business will actually be judged on.

How do I get access to Climate Academy?

Climate Academy is currently free for CNB certified clients. If you are already a CNB client, log in to your CNB account and Climate Academy will appear in your dashboard. If you are not yet a CNB client, Climate Academy becomes available as part of your certification. Talk to us about certification and we will get you set up on both.
